I now run 60+ FPS with a mix of low to high settings and MEDIUM MSAA on triple screens.
#Xfire crosshair overlay drivers
It took me an entire weekend to do the DDU + reinstall routine + custom installation over and over with several driver revisions starting all the way in the 16.xx drivers up to the last 17.9.2 driver + MSI AB to get it to run with crossfire (without crossfire PC2 was unusable with FPS in the mid 20’s). I had the same issues on PC2 launch (17.9.1 installed). (The first game works fine with the default setting, I just thought it may have been worth a try) I have done pretty much the same, but I have also tried loading game specific crossfire profiles from Project Cars 1 and Project Cars 2.
#Xfire crosshair overlay Patch
:-(Īhh well, I can at least still play the game I just have to dial down all the beautiful eye candy :-(, I'm sure AMD will patch the driver quickly. So I'm fairly confident with my testing and Mattyd having a similar problem that the issue is with AMD's drivers. *I rolled back the drivers to 17.9.1 and followed the exact same steps as above and produced the exact same results. *All games working perfectly with both GPU's fully utilised resolution to make sure it wasn't a "4k" thing. *Ran various other titles to confirm no hardware issue BF1, Warhammer TW, Dying light, Dirt Rally. *This made no difference, no second GPU utilisation in PC2. * Stripped out 17.9.2 drivers with 3rd party software and reinstalled them fully. a 295x2 is basically the same as what I have. In the histogram for the 2nd gpu, the activity line (green) does not show up at all. I have the same problem, although with a 295x2.
